During his papacy, Pope Benedict XVI once gathered 250 artists in the Sistine Chapel and addressed them as “custodians of beauty” and “heralds and witnesses of hope for humanity”.
In our little corner of the world, we gather together at Church of the Annunciation in Harlem to be supported and uplifted by our spiritual fathers, fellow artists, and art-lovers from across the city.
Thank you to the artists who shared their gifts with the community for the Mass for Artists + coffeehouse; thank you to our community for supporting us through your presence; thank you to Fr. Orlando and the Church of the Annunciation for the hospitality that makes this event happen.
