Recent commissioned logo created for my friends over at Day’s Work Institute, a nonprofit based out of Wichita, KS, inspired by the life and work of Dorothy Day. When Matthew approached me about this logo he had a specific process and style in mind– a linoleum cut print to echo the history of printmaking in the Catholic Worker newspaper. I’m excited to be a part of their humble mission in this small way.
More info about DWI, from Matthew Arnett: “At Day’s Work Institute we seek to revitalize lower income families and neighborhoods in the Greater Wichita area through replacement of interior and exterior substandard housing conditions at no cost to homeowners for the sake of improving physical and mental health, community and home security, and home and neighborhood pride.”
